This year I have spent too much time on the internet, so bought some new gear. Haven't quite got the proper hang of it yet, but in those (few) cases I hung it properly, the hammock offered good rest. At 200 grams it was easy enough to put in the sack. Need a fair bit more practice setting up camp with this gear though.

Definitively I need a larger tarp for this system to work, with 20 cm extra each end I need a low and perfect pitch to be protected against the rain with the least amount of wind.

The actual deer shooting went too fast for the camera, and I had a minor "fail" in not refilling the magazine, allowing deer no 3 to escape. Usually I have my reserve ammunition in a fixed spot but...
