    What period?

Block 8 is a bit of a gnarly block, quite steep and bush is tight. But there's good deer numbers. Chance of a "trophy" sized stag is pretty slim. If the weather was dry I'd go for a look.

Not sure about Wainakarua, haven't been in there for a while. Probably better weather and hunting conditions.
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Block 3 is my favorite wainak block. Cheap heli ride in to if you dont fancy the walk. The deer seem to roar early in there too... I know where I'd be heading. I miss the wainak's having moved nth. PM if you want some info.

How much do the helicopter rides into there cost? Ive been in there overnight once and I really wish i could fly after that backbreaking experience. That area also taught me about the magic of anti-fog drops. Raised my rifle to a feral sheep only to see nothing but condensation, and then the sheep was gone.
