Day hunting from chch with my foreign friend, he doesn't have the gear for an overnight and I don't have enough spare stuff...

So Rakaia or rangitata for the spring? Have a small 4wd but prob not up to river crossings.

Nt worried about animal numbers so much as access due to lambing. I think he would be rapt to see a thar and/or Cham haha! I don't know how he would handle a MASSIVE walk. But he is relatively fit as am I. Could easily do a 5-6 hour hunt

What spare stuff do you need. I've got plenty of stuff here.
