    7mm rem ultra mag is the one for that, also most "short magnums" suffer throat erosion more than a porn star

    The kick isn't too bad un-suppressed. I wouldn't like to do a big target session with the suppressor off. I love mine. Bang flop, nuff said

    Nah, u should not believe everything you’re told.

    Why do you want a magnum?
    Light weight 300win mag is not easy to shoot accurately (that’s why so many come up for sale cheap ) and you need to have good tolerance for recoil. First requirement for long range rig is accuracy, if rifle/shooter can’t deliver that then you’re wasting your time and money.

    I would split the difference and get a 7mm Weatherby much better case design from a reloading stand point, The 300 WM needs a long action like the Rem 700 to seat the bullets out
    further.
