Do we get any after-sale service ?

So spend a lot of money buying a brand new Sako S20 with a very expensive Scope from the big Gun retailer in the City.

Gun gives problems-after 10 to 20 rounds. No worries make a call to the Gun dealer in the City.
"Bring it in we will send it in to Sako to get sorted. We are the big guys always having your back."
Great so no problem always great to be with the big boys.

    Couple of weeks later:
Please collect your gun we wont be helping you. But you saw the problem and confirmed it is wrong? Sorry thats that.
And Sako? Thy say nothing wrong.
I showed you the problem and we can still replicate? No sorry we cant help you.
Can I speak to somebody about this? Sorry the store manager has spoken and remember we ar the Gun dealer in the City!
Did you see the multiple links on the web about this same problem?
Sorry will there be anything els??

No never again will there be anything els for you from my side Gun dealer in the City and SAKO NZ.

No support, no decency, no feedback.

Can only say that I will rather pay extra but never again any of those two again.

Suggest you get hold of Beretta NZ, send an email so you have copies of what is said. Also send a similar email to SAKO, cc in Beretta NZ. And then as they are formulating their reply to you, I suggest you lawyer up. Under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act the seller is required to supply you with goods fit for purpose and are obligated to remedy any faults. Or refund. Or replace. The seller in this case is the Gun shop in the City that you bought it from. Not Beretta NZ or SAKO.

Ive read a lot about magazine feeding issues with them.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

Hey guys, correct, iv moved on to other things.
Iv still got a bit of knowledge though about how the process generally works. What exactly is the problem with it? You didn't specify.
I may still be able to give some insight on what to do from here, or why that decision may have been made.

    Cheers

So the interesting thing is that between 1:09 and 2:30 somebody knew exactly what the issue is !?

Glad I did not give any indication as this would have spoiled the surprise.

This is very weird ? How can it be that us mere mortals know something about the issues on this particular rifle....

Conclusion: We must all be high because the rifle manufacturer has denied the existence of this known problem. Let us not even speak about the Gun dealer in the City.

Do yourself a favour and stop talking in riddles and loose the holier than thou additude or those on here that could help you are inclined to give you a wide birth cause you sound like the sort that will never be satisfied.

Agree nothing more frustrating than an issue with a new toy no matter what it is, so spill without getting emotional and bringing feelings into it.
What exactly is the issue ?
What has been done by the retailer ?
What has been done by the importer/manufacturer ?
    Why is this unacceptable ?
