The processor will check and enter the kill data into their system as a condition of the MPI audited individual RMP (Risk Management Plan) that each processor operates under. When MPI conducts a plant Audit all of this information will be checked. Last year there were a couple of operators regularly taking deer within the 2km buffer zone stipulated by mpi, I don't believe anything was ever said. In fact if you are out hunting in the Ruahines and watch the choppers work the fringe country it happens all the time.
