Thread: Donald River - Haast Roar Blocks

Yes we have been there. 2 campsites from memory that helicopter guys drop off at. We were at the one downstream on the true right of river and hunted mainly on true right due to the river being up most of the time we were there. Reasonable deer numbers but you will need to work for them. Quite a few big slips that are worth checking out. We managed a good 13 pointer and an old 11 pointer. Awesome place. Good luck!
