Thread: Dooleys Whare...??

I have not been up there yet...but what is the history ....thanks

Jeez Wayne!!!! I thought you knew the area???? Do you know how to get to it????
If you do then you'll see a bit of a placard ( that's a sign type thing,eh???) that gives you a bit of run down. It was a batten splitters hut obviously tied up with our Mr. Dooley ( I wonder if he was related to the famous Greg Dooley???)
The hut had had a bit of an upgrade in the bunking dept last time I saw it a few years ago.It used to have running water too until the syphon hose from the creek got clogged up.

Others on the forum may know the full guts????

Not sure myself.The first I think. 50/75m nth of army rd camp & the track now leads right to the hut( it didn't originally). A great little bolt hole if you ever get stuck in freezing conditions.
No fireplace tho' which is a bit of a bugger.
