Thread: Douglas River Hunting

Don't listen to anyone who tells you the "low route" out the Douglas to Cassels flat is an option. As said, the track up from Horace Walker hut to Terraces on true right of Douglas and onwards will open up some country and give you an idea of where to push on to. If Douglas Lake is frozen it makes Harpers Rock Biv a lot easier. If you are flying in/out, suggest you grill the pilot on what has been happening in the area in case you end up picking up shotgun shells like we did.
