for in House its fine to get the gist of the score, or to score ya own heads - as long as you measure each one the same way![]()
if the number creeps up into the trophy bracket, then its worth getting someone legit to score it- this also indicates just how far off your scoring method is-- often a few
the technicalities in some of the douglas score methods can make for grey water to unexperienced an often a couple extra "douglasses" here or there![]()
yeah righto, certainly is hands on.
so the other method is alot easier an gives a score to the whole animal is the SCI....... moreso how they score elk in america etc- total inches of tine, plus a spread etc
just to throw a cat in with the pidgeons as im sure the Douglas is still held in high regard in kiwi![]()
