    Measure the length of each horn around the outside curve, in inches. Double the shortest length. Measure the circumference of each horn at the base, in inches. Double the shortest circumference. Add the two numbers together, that is the DS. This is the way to score all the horned species; goat, tahr, chamois and ram.
