80 Hector of forest behind my house is being roo controlled this week in the darks hours by the local contractor with thermal gear.Be interesting on the numbers they find and destroy.20-30 max maybe?.

We only have big jumpers down here.

I do find it hard to believe someone would purposely release roo's. Deer and pigs I can very much believe but roo's are not nearly as good eating.

My dogs love catching the wee ones we have up here. Be interesting to see how they'd react to the bigger ones

They will always be expensive to kill per animal in low density at the margin of the range, but it is good value to prevent range spread.

similar to hare...dark meat with blander taste,almost like lamb..... small ones are anyway..steaks are ok and the tils are great stew/casserole..as for worms,stop gut shooting them...

Big 20-25kg roo would just scratch your dog's eyes out or ripp his guts open.They are vicious barstards when cornered.
