I took the old 303 out for a walk today to check an area where a couple of weeks ago, I spotted some (to my untrained eyes!) potential fallow buck rubbing. This is not a typical fallow area, although I did have a fallow spiker run across the road in front of the car a while ago about 10kms away. Oh; I'm about 5' 11"; if that gives you a guage of the height of the "rubbungs"
The gully is used a lot by pig hunters, and it's where I usually go to pick up a couple of freezer goats. I'm picking that if it is a buck then it may have been travelling through as the valley gets quite a bit of pig hunting pressure. I thought it was worth going back out and sitting til dark. No joy, but was a lovely evening to sit in the bush with my 107 year old girl...
So what's the consensus; yay or nay? Thanks!
