    Fallow country

My mate and I did a trip into the Wanganui last weekend – saw a few fallow and reds – well about 200 fallow and about 15 reds – we harvest a bit of meat and do a lot of viewing
Got four fallow and one red spiker – target was young bucks -
Unusual time of the year – lots of lonely and lost yearlings – many does are mobbed up waiting to drop – bucks have all gone bush or way out into open country
Pics are not great but will give you a flavour –

Mum has kicked him out –

Part of a mob of 12 does about 30m above me – had the zoom too high to get them all in – didn’t bother them -

Gave this guy a flea in his ear at 100m with an 80gr 243 – hope it’s not too gory -

No stress over there – lots of good mobs of 20 or more – didn’t bother them -

Bit misty – but 27 girls in this lot – about 800m – didn’t bother them – lovely to watch –

Looks like a farm so probability is that it is private. Great to have access to somewhere like that

Big station - very private - plenty of scrub in some areas - but for some strange reason even in the scrubby areas - fallow like sitting in the sunshine - hence the head shot cause that was about all I could see

    Fantastic Time Out.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Neckshot, English is a prick of a language. "Can't say it wasn't" is the same as "Can say it was" how fucking dipshit is that?
