    Fallow rut

    How long do the fallow roar for? Mainly south island fallow, do they finish up around the same time as reds

    I think they start a little later and finish a little later. But I’m still looking for a fallow buck so I’m probably wrong.

    Yeah im keen to have a go at a fallow buck, was thinking Mckenzie docs areas might be ok

    Just started in Kaikoura they usually go hard around ANZAC so appx 3-4weeks after reds

    I lived at Omarama for a few years,theres game around there but not in great numbers.A lot of trmper traffic up there in the summer.Befor the 4x4 track at Canyon Creek was closed,we could drive up the valley another 20ks.Great country to visit tho.3 little huts to stay in,the further you walked,less people you'd see.
