    Feedback on Makahu Rd (Kaweka Hunters)?

    Seasons greetings everyone!

    Just want to know a bit about the road (Makahu) into the hot springs. I hoping to take the family in for a few days glampng at the camp sight at the end of the road. I'll be all right with the 4wd but was wanting to know if the wife will be ok in her Toyota Corolla. We have to take two vehicles due to the kids all taking a friend each. I've heard there's a ford but don't know much about it. Some feedback would be much appreciated. Cheers
