    I've tried Canado goose eggs. Thought they would make a fantastic omellete.
    Inedible. Got thrown in the fire. Possibly OK in baking??

    These ones had half developed chicks in so never got anywhere near the kitchen. Found 2 nests with a total of 14 eggs. Shot 3 geese between us too.
    Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

    tip those geese eggs into the river bar one in the nest. They won't re breed same season. If you tip them all out, the geese will lay another set. Total pest and no good when hunting the flats for deer. St James area real bad for it.

    We snuck into a nice flat Sat morning to promptly have a goose start squawking and fly off down it!!

    good work mate nice spot, i was up st james afew weeks ago checking out some clearings and nailed 5 geese for the dog on the way out nothing much more satisfying then watching the impact of the 243 on them
