    Finally a deer !

First deer by myself..... started when dad said he was helping a mate out solar panels up at south head and asked if I could come and give him a hand and then proceed to say that the guy he was doing it for would let me go for a hunt if I helped out. So obviously I jumped on the idea of going for a hunt. So long story short we finished work round 5 then I went for a hunt at round 7 it was pissing down with rain and I spooked 3 deer and saw one but wasn’t presenting a safe shot so I let it be. So I came back empty handed. (rick) dads mate who was getting the panels put up said to go for a morning hunt. I woke at five and it was hosing down. The rain cleared at about 7 so I went out then I walked for about a hour seing nothing, got the gate (all most home) and decided to have a sit down and spotted a fellow hind about 100 meters away just minding its own business so I lined her up and psssshhhh from the 7mmo8 and it was down straight through the heart. I was extatic as it was my second ever deer first fellow and first solo deer (an excuse for the shoddy gutting job) hahah [ATTACH]82421

Bloody great stuff Anthony, Its all a learning curve and now you can learn how to dress one out and cooking up a good hotpot of venison.
