Shit, i thought i had missed something here and you guys were taking viagra in the hills...
Although @The Hunters Club , i did notice you guys getting through the Gu Chews. How did they go in those hard slogs? I've been thinking about something to help out on the hills when its tough going, you look up and its still that big hill you've been climbing up.

They were bloody good those Gu chews. The folk at Gu sent us a big care package before we left (with hydration sachets and gels etc), but we had no obligation to feature them at all so it wasn't a paid promotion in any way. We all found they were bloody handy on those big climbs when you can't really stop to have a brew as you just need to keep on trucking. I existed on Gu chews, a peanut slab and a big chunk of biltong for the big climb in.

And Anto wasn't exaggerating, they're bloody delicious too, far better than most lollies. I found myself chewing one and sucking one, when sucked they'd last a good 15-20 minutes.

Bloody good to know. Finally something that helps you on a big climb in our out.
