Thread: First crack on Doc land

So some of you may have seen the belated introduction post last week with a few pigs I managed off private property. Unfortunately for me my brother got a farm worker with pig dogs and also a son who is old enough to hunt. I would still go for evening walks but the pigs were well and truly wary and weren't coming out, even on dark.
This prompted me to start looking for Doc land close to home. Fortunately I found quite a few places so started looking. This was my first trip to a fairly well hunted block. I arrived in the car park to find a couple of trucks with dog boxes on the back so figured it must have a few animals about. I was hoping for deer so found a likely spot and sat in wait. Nothing was seen apart from a print or two that looked quite fresh. Given the number of people seen I'm thinking if I head back to this spot in the future I'll push back a bit further.

Plenty of animals in that block as youve said just push back further and stay till dark .
