First one for the year…

Bowled a fallow spiker (prickett in fallow language..?) earlier this evening with a classic crease shot using my .223.

Quite a satisfying little walk with the bonus of securing a animal. Wind was wrong checking out the general area except the little basin I shot the deer in. I do think though a older animal would have scarpered sooner….
