    Reds on farms down here are roaring too, not a sound in the hills this morning. Forecast for snow tomorrow so that may spark them up.

    Heard a wap bull bugle yesterday. First one I’ve really heard. On farm. Does seem later than normal.

    Heard a number of farm stags light up here on 25th Feb, earliest I can recall. Heard another this morning. But I also heard 2 stags roaring for a few days in late Sept, last year!
