Good fatties they are. I see you have them hung by the back legs, I find that if I hang by the head or with a hook in the brisket the leg and saddle meat will be much more relaxed when it is cut up than if it is stretched out like a guitar string. Just my 2c

Yeah I’ve heard people hanging out of head and actually hooking in the back of rump as well probably better but have been hanging them that way.. change is hard 😂

Blisters - that’s only the pluck out of one of the deer doing a bit of trapping good stuff to get them critters in the trap. Sideshow is right some people get upset it’s all private here and mostly farm land and deer are known for TB.

Seventenths - I think the more the minimum weight of bullet which is 55gr I think. But it’s all about shot placement a .22 would put down a deer 100 yards in the head region. I’m using Sako .270 and using American whitetail 130gr. .223 is a good round also. Yeah I like Sika where you would hit a red or fallow and they would fall a sika would run they are a hardy deer. Yeah but when applying for your license you have to mark silencer on your application and give a good reason ie shooting around livestock (unusually putting down to save your hearing has been declined)
A pen in an aristocrats hand is more dangerous then a rifle in a hunters.

If you hang them by the head the meat is better and the skinning is superfast - just do your cuts on the ground, pull em up by the head. Tie a bit of bale twine around a good handful of neck skin that you have already started and a bit of rope or a chain onto the 4 wheeler and pull it off.
