Fuck this selling us out bullshit that's been going on. Ripping us off with ridicules prices for licences and doing sweet fuck all with it except driving around in new utes. CUNTS. Causing a heap of trouble with cockies IS NOT HELPING US!! Fucking idiots.

Yes I will be at the next meeting.
I am with you Wirehunt sick of these buggers going on about dirty dairying when 98% have all waterways fenced and nutrient budgets in place. I think the sheep and beef have a lot to answer for but there is no mention of them.

I know of one access entry for licensed fishos and the bloody river is crawling with cattle.

I took down one permanent fence today as the water is gone.

    Agree with most of that
I've spent a lot if time jet boating the manawatu and all the little side creeks.
I remember when oringi was working there was a massive pipe about 4 foot round that flowed continually into the river it was bad looking shit I always wondered if it was supposed to be there........
Same thing at alliance in Vegas.
I think the big intensive dairy farming up this way is not doing any of our rivers a favour
Sheep and beef farmers up here don't have the money to farm as intensively as the dairy boys.
Not a dairy dig in any way just an observation from the other side of the fence.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was of the understanding Oringi was closed due to Fonterra no longer allowing the waste from the works being spread over the surrounding pastures? I'm sure there were other economic reasons too and this was a convenient excuse.
I went for a fish behind Oringi the other day and it was surprising how murky the river (Manawatu?) was. Compared to the rivers around you @BRADS it looked a bit gross. I certainly would not drink from it.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

You are right James I think I said when it was working?
Yeah the water is not good there,
But it's surrounded by dairy farms all the way two it's head at norsewood
