    Forms of protest

Firstly I support the effort with tharjam. The problem I see is that it seems very small and a minor thing to a non hunter looking on or a politician.
The protest is disproportionately small for the number of people up and down the country who feel affected and want to make a point.
Having a couple of beers with a mate on Saturday I had an idea that the next step of tharjam. Could it be phone jam?
We organise every parliamentary ph number we can.
These are to rang on a certain day, all day. The lines are clogged and people may notice. you could even add media outlets to the list and glue up their lines.
The point would be that the protest would have a better proportional effect.
Even a worker at lunch could say,"oh I've got 10 mins off, I'll call some of the list".

Anyway. I was just thinking it could be an idea and that maybe we need to come up with more or refine what we have.

    Anyone else with ideas?

Email bombardment. Hit their emails with ones that wont trigger spam filters. Three thousand emails with different headers and wording will make filtering through way more difficult. They could all have similar text, Start with a single sentence in common stating why the add your own sentence regarding your own opinion and send it to every reporter and politician on the list. Re title it and repeat. If each of us sends one or two emails to each person on the list per day and there is a few thousand who do this, then there will be many thousands of emails in every in box every day....

Problem is... if 200 hunters started phoning different places then you be sure someone will construe they are being threatened and we will be slandered and libeled for it, after all we are scary guys with evil guns, no?

Also, clogging up phone systems, dangerous, you might block a life or death call from being made - unintended consequences, but not unforeseeable.

Definitely worth it to keep talking to the helicopter company you use. Even if they don't take part in the Tahr cull, tell them how good you feel about them for that.

We only want to clog up the politicians phone lines. And maybe the media? Not the first responders.

The biggest hurdle will be getting enough people to participate as seen with the other protests not many turn up. The other thing is the horses media ability to turn it against us.the reasons for not turning up are varied and understandable to me some being some people need to go to work some wish to remain anonymous being owners of firearms in my case I know that my reaction to someone even making a comment about us firearms community will probably have a very negative effect on what we would like to achieve and the media would just love that.at this stage I just write to mps and joined a party.as I've said before I think the best way to have much of a affect is from within the system so my thinking is a party with a lot of members from within the firearms community is a good place to fight this bullshit from

The whole point as that people in northland or whereever could participate. Text function is interesting. All mps and interested parties cell numbers get texted all day.

I agree the problem with oh calls is there's so many dickhead hunters that plenty will be abusive. Even if you provide a cue card of what to say.
If fact what you say is irrelevant as the idea is disruption.

Haha, yes, I know, but problem is, even a politician may need the phone when having a myocardial infarct fornicating with the secretary.

Disruption, tick 100% achieved box if the remaining heli companies pull out. Widespread disruption, not great for any election. And not great for us, our greatest card is our reputation as certified mentally healthy and law-abiding citizens, that's what the firearms license signifies. A lot of second class citizens out there who are not able to carry that card for a variety of reasons, not all their own fault.

Consider that antifa riots, fanned by leftist liberals, will likely result in Trump's re-election as well as already having made a massive case against gun control in the US.
