I lost the mouthpiece from my hydration bladder on a hunt with my brother last year. Didn't notice til I took my pack off back at the hut and my pack leaked all over the floor. Three months later I was out bush stalking on a solo trip and spotted something blue sticking out of the dirt in a horrible patch of supplejack. Was the mouthpiece from my bladder. My joy was short-lived however, when a couple of hours later I was heading back to camp in the dark after just boning out a deer when I looked down and noticed my wedding ring was gone... spent the whole next day trying to find it, and retraced my steps a week later with a metal detector but no luck.
