Franz Josef/Fox, West Coast Chamois - Day hunt or overnight suggestions?

Hey guys currently in Hokitika making my way South from the North Island, just wondering if anyone could please offer some possible suggestions for a day or overnight hunt for West Coast Chamois?
My record on Chamois is currently 0-2 on two separate trips in the Eyre Mountains so this would potentially be my first Cham to date.

Trying to decide whether to head up Alex Knob track for an overnighter or if there are better alternatives to head up for a couple day hunts, open to suggestions?

    Cheers

I have shot around 95 chamois.
Like a whole bunch of others on here, I couldn't count how many deer and Tahr I've shot, but they all got/get eaten by family and friends, so, why so many Chamois and what do you do with them?

well Ive eaten eggzachary every scrap of every chammy Ive ever shot.....stirfried its pretty good and the steaks although small werent to be sniffed at either.
there is just something special about them that does it for me..the other big hairy mountain goats dont squeal my wheels much at all.

Try the local DoC offices over on the Coast. They can give you some good info.
