F4. Safe
Centre of F4.
F4
I wanna pretend I have pin point accuracy and zero chance of missing - so between the eyes B6 and drop him beautifully but in the moment and wanting to fill a freezer and actually get the kill, lets go aiming along the F/G line or just into F4 like everyone has said....
F4
F4 indeed....
If as close as it looks cd56 intersection for me.
F4 looks on the money for me too.
F4
F4 - the ultimate hilar shot.
On a recent hind culling trip, the F4 was my favourite shot. On numerous occasions the young hind, on sighting my movement, would turn towards me, but not directly facing me, usually slightly below me across a narrow gully. I’d aim at F4, the objective being to place the bullet just in front of and just above the humerus / scapula joint, on rib #1. The soft bullet then takes out the aorta / pulmonary arteries, hilar zone in the front of the lungs, the autonomic nerve plexus and the rear half of the offside lung, with the base exiting around rib #9-10. Instant bang flop. Back straps and shoulders perfectly intact.
If I shot that there with my 30-284 and a 178amax both shoulders would be jelly and the whole thing would be bloody back to the hind quarters.
If I shot it there with my 303 with 150gr soft points I could eat right up to the hole.
If I was only going to carry hind quarters and back steaks it would make no difference.
If I could drag it to a track to pick up with quad or ute it would.
