    The roar and mating are 2 different subjects

    Stags round up their hinds and let out verbal roars to ward off threats in the area. They can be a week or 2 early. This is when we are out there getting our own hard on’s
    Stags will mate when they detect a hind is ready to conceive whether they are roaring or not

    Shoot me down like a horny stag if I am wrong
