Thread: Gaiters

I usually use neoprene putties which are ok. Have some army goretex gaiters I've never worn but might try them up high this year to help combat that shitty speargrass

I used to make my own with old jeans and shoelaces. Doesnt keep you dry but keeps the crap out and protects the lower legs. I have seen guys use horse bandages.

Actually just realised my profile pic shows what im talking about . Was a few haircuts ago lol. The long johns help with hookgrass and stinging nettle as well.
