    Get out there!

To all those sitting on their chuffs wondering if they should go hunting or stay home I say "Get out there!"

After a Fathers day weekend trip into the Ruahines I can report that the stags are hanging out together making the most of the warmer weather...and they still have their head gear on!

Those gully heads are easy pickings at the moment.

    Have fun!!!

I would love to go out but being new to hunting and the NZ bush I am waiting to sign up with the Napier Deerstalkers and then hope to go out with some more experienced hunters. May even consider using up the day I am owed for working last Saturday and use it for a midweek if someone wanted to drag along a newbie!

At the moment I would be more of a hazard to myself rather than any deer that popped up in front of me!

    7. Avoid alcohol or drugs when handling firearms

Good judgement is the key to safe use of firearms.
