Done that ourselves in a valley we tahr hunt in with a lot of beech forest. Usually end up up the mountain in the dark then you have to find your way back through the forest, which is reasonably tricky in such rugged country. We put up the reflective strips which stand out with head light from 100m away quite well and ensures a comfortable journey back to camp?
