    A goat..

Went out to check a new bush stalking spot this morning.. into the bush shortly after first light with my young dog.. he’s still a bit too keen when he’s on a scent and will pull away from me.

Anyway he got us onto this beautiful looking goat and later in the day a nice big stag at 20 metres but I muffed it by moving in too quick and spooking it. Maybe I should have shot it up the backside as it ran away in hindsight but I watched it bound away in my scope.

Here’s a pic of the goat.
