Goat Removal - South Auckland

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place for this but need to start somewhere.

I have 2 young wethers in prime condition that are running a muck around both my own and my neighbours properties. They are semi tame but not enough to be catch-able and thus transported to my regular homekill guy.
I would like someone with both the gun and the knowledge of butchering them to come and remove them asap. We don't want to mess the job up with our .22.
Location is near Bombay in South Auckland. Any help someone could provide would be much appreciated.

I would have thought your regular homekill guy was the perfect bloke for the job. He'll have the right rifle, the right skills. Have you asked him?

You have counties custom home kills just around the corner on pinnacle hill road.

And Mr Butcher homkills on Ararimu road, ramarama.

Maybe he means they are in a scrub block type scenario & the home kill guy wouldn't be interested in stalking or carrying off the hill :thumbsup:

I certainly wouldn't want some guy with zero reputation who I never met coming to my place and shooting it up with firearms, let alone all you fellas keen as to jump on a free goat shoot for the same reasons, you don't know who your dealing with and possibly there motivation.

On the brightside, at least the potential slayer/culler/butcher probably won’t be rocking up with an AK/AR etc with a 30 round mag and FMJs. The professionals with a P are too expensive for this work. :XD:

I've quite often responded to adds for culling help on the lifestyle block forum and met some great people (and got some great meat). not everyone's out to get you ay.....

I used to live in ararimu 30 odd years ago when the lifestyle block subdivision was really getting started. Got asked to despatch all kinds of things, turkeys, peacocks, a few alpaca and an ostrich, even a couple of deer that got out of a deer farm. Its a great way to meet interesting people.

Bit PC around here now. Lady down the road called the cops on my neighbour for teaching the kids to shoot in there paddock, cops turned up in full kit. I'm outer here this weekend. See ya auckland.

So was I. Sinclair road, that had a camp at the end of it and ran into findlaysons dairy farm when we were there. Bet its different now.

30 years!! Mate iv only been here for 4 haha. I grew up in Clevedon so was stepping stones to get a place back out in the country. Now living the lifestyle dream lol. I bet you have seen the place change a lot as well. Marty Henry, I bet you would also have a few yarns.
