Thread: Goats/pigs in National Park

Has anybody got any spots they would be willing to point out to me for the above?? I know they are there, just want some specific places to go looking

I've had a little luck with some goats in some of the smaller bits of DOC land near Te-kuiti/Waitomo. I popped into the DOC office and asked. They pointed me to places that were too small to bother sending the cullers. I visited about 3-4 of them over the weekends. We got about half a dozen. Haven't been there in 6 months but it might be worth a look for you.

I used to live there and have done plenty of walking around there is some over the hill along fishers track but you will have much much more luck around Raurimu.
Doc keep the area pretty well clean.
