Went and had a look at te kauri park walked down the sheep track and halfway down i wasnt feeling it so walked out, stopped and talked to the custodian and they said there was nothing in the bush and near all goats are on farms backing onto the bush, so thought bugger it im going to strop down to waipahiki for a stroll in my favourite bit of bush ( i dont know why i bother bloody sika) had a great day saw heaps of sign heard a far off hee haww up stream and found an insane wallow and scrape just off the river flats it stunk and there was heaps of poop around and good trails leading off it so i tracked up the trail slowly and let out a small single call and sat down for 40 mins but nought so just slowly went up stopping every couple of meters for ten mins or so and when i ran out of light i tripped back out to the car, managed to pop a tyre in the biggest pothole on waipahiki rd lol.
