Thread: Goodbye possums, rats and stoats

Just stumbled across Predator Free New Zealand. . Now if there was more groups, schools and individuals getting support with cheap traps, bait stations ect that would be better than aerial 1080. We have some large bush areas where this type of work is successful.
Predator free, don't we have native nz predators.
Also if you are around Rotorua anytime especially if you have kids take a dawn walk at the Kaharoa kokako trust, its not touristy just a bush walk, you may not see them but you will hear them. They do use 1080 in bait stations for about a month just before breeding season.
