You can check the pesticides summary on the doc website before heading out.

Thanks for the website info @Sy270.
Was going to take the 308 for a walk in the near future, but will do as you suggest.

Central/northern tararuas are good. Shot a goat in there yesterday and found a freshly butchered pig (I estimate about 20kgs total weight based on skin and hock remains), and two deer that were all cut up on sunday or monday.

Have never seen so much in there.

I did not see any signs, parked by YMCA campsite car park, looked on doc web site there had notice for the Feathertston-crown (LN188) but that is some distance from the top part of Dobson loop track.

There was a project kaka drop last month. Is that what project kaka 1080 looks like? Pics are poor quality.

Looks more like that been mould that sticks sometimes get? Report it though if you're sure because all flight paths will be tracked so if it's outside that it could be some dick trying to poison dogs or similar?

Last drop in the Holdsworth area was January this year.
Signs stay up until October, according to website.
Will check my daughter's maps and see if anything would interfere with a walk.
Feeling pretty confident I'll see something if @tararua has seen so much 'waste' in the area.

    It could be a fungus

The council dropped 1080 in the water catchment and I believe the drop bordered dobsons? Cant remember now

Update on Project Kaka 1080 aerial drop. Prefeed carried out in the last week and they will be doing the real thing when a weather window presents. A month before we are due to fly into Andersons for the roar
