    greymouth hunting

    Hi all im moving to Greymouth soon just wondering about the hunting there as im from Taranaki.

    There is this funny stuff that falls fro the sky and its wet.....

    Im sure someone will be along with serious advice, but im positive you could get a good chance of chamois and red for a good solid day trip

    Try Mount French.
    Deer down low in the bush Chamios up top. Can be up and back in a day or as many days as you like. Better further back. Hunting is different there than the soft stuff on the other side of the Straight

    well dont ask me.... I have acess to private block not far away from there and we can find where deer have been,have slept,have crapped...but cant find any to make die!!!!
    MOST coasters seem to resort to/prefer to use the midnight sun method to obtain venison it seems.

    Back of Kaiata, up past Nelson creek, up the Haupiri, fallow in Rough Creek, all good spots in the 80's and 90's you might need to have a good look around and see what's still public access.
