Thread: GSP Cross Mutt, anyone had any experience?

my current bitch is gspXlab dad labXbeardie mum and she is a corker (well is to me anyway) spent the day wandering around behind her and we managed to put up a couple of deer in trying conditions today (swirly winds are bain of our existance) the old dog we had a few years back was gsp/lab and she also was an awesome hunting dog..... two things.GSP=WHINE and GSP=COLD keep them warm and dont let the whinge start...tell your Mrs "the dog is not friggin talking" shut it up. and you should be fine .my previous bitch was gsp/huntaway and she was a great companion,retrieved all my ducks n geese,harrassed many wallabies and tagged along on the odd deerstalk.
bottom line is that if you say YES you have the next 10-12 years with dog...make it work. if nothing else teach dog to walk quietly at heal,at least you have help to find dead animal.
