    Ecofix was something I came across as an environmentally friendly chainsaw oil, old mate doing the beasts had a curve back pipe on his muffler to dump the exhaust back away from the animal and then the ecofix bar oil on a very sharp chain. Looked a bit odd as oldmate gets the chaps and helmet out and cranks the Stihl up and into the cattle beast...

    As far as bore oiling, don't forget that the first shot on a clean cold bore will go a different place, if you have a layer of oil in there it'll really improve the consistency not. Oil will reduce the friction in the bore and this will actually reduce the pressure and velocity. Second shot should be back on song but you could get some quite widely separated impacts.
