    Hi,
We've scored this block for the 3rd period next year. Anyone been there before? Any info appreciated.
    Cheers

Had this block about 3 yrs ago. We were the second party in there was a small amount of sign but obviously the first group had beat us to there.
Was a very disappointing trip and would have done a lot better on doc land around canterbury. On the way out the pilot said he'd been flying groups into that block for 7 yes and not heard a good thing about it.
    A few chamois on tops

Hunted the block in 2018. The landing site is in the upper valley and there wasn’t a lot of fresh sign nearby. I mostly hunted well downstream. A few hinds and followers on the clearings but only heard the one stag.
Low animal numbers for sure but you never know

I hunted the drake a few years ago. No deer seen on the tops but a few chamois seen. Recommend heading to the lowest areas of the block and hunt the bush.
