So i'm going stir crazy and need to get out

Thinking of finding a hut somewhere St James area (dog friendly) for 2 nights start of next week. Anyone keen to join?

Weather is looking a bit a peerage but I really don't care!

Keen to find anything running around be it a hare, deer, pig or possum I just need to get out in the hills

Hope you have a good hunt, is that area part of the 1080 area ?

Nah they did the eastern end near the archeron, can't take dogs on Molesworth so will head over fowler's or Maling Pass, not many animals around but usually see something even if I don't shoot anything.

Island pass might be worth a look - and theres a hut

My bad.... Been a bit chaotic, pm incoming.

Saw a couple of chamoi way up high and a bit of sign on the scree slopes but weather was bad enough to make me hide in the hut most of the time!
