    Hawkes Bay - Goats

Anyone know where I can go goat shooting in Hawkes Bay, on either public or private land. We used to have farm we went to but the last three times we have been there we havn't seen anyway so think most have been culled out.

If you know someone wanting someone to get rid of some please PM me, safe and responsible shooters. Don't leave carcass's lying around.

If your up for a day out I will book a forestry block and come along to knock over a few goats. I have a new 22-250 I want to get the sights on something other than paper.
PM me with what weekend you can do and how many will come. Don't really want to go with more then a few.

Call Pan Pac, they'll give you access to a block (free).
It will be all above board too.... no trees landing on you or trucks blowing you off the road

can't remember names, but I think it was public relations and we just picked up a permit from the main office.

Were using bows so that makes access a areas a whole lot easier.

Hunting goats in the bush is a lot of fun too and there`s always the chance of a deer or pig! Pop in to your local DOC office and ask to talk with the guy in charge of goat control, they`re usually pleased to point you in the right direction.
