    Heads on a plane.

Early this week i managed to get my first roared in stag, what a rush. Big solid bush 9 pt and really want to get the head home.

Cleaned it up the best I can but she's getting pretty ripe. If I was to triple bag it with heaps of tape, bubble wrap up the antlers etc do you reckon they'll let me take it on the plane?

Anybody done it? Other options? Flying out of invers tomorrow.

Will post up pics once in better reception.

Wrap it well and put some water hose over antler tips and cover entire thing in a plastic bag so its not obvious what it is. It will be fine as long as Samuel Jackson isn't on the flight.

Pool noodle from m10 or warehouse over tips
    Buy extra baggage allowance
Check it in as fragile oversize goods next to polybox of meat. Both well wrapped.. .. Good to go

Congrats. Hope ya gonna post up a hunt report when the dust is settled. If ya run into problems we are 5 min from Invers airport, bring it round and we'll sort something. 021516342 if it gets messy.

We pre salted the head for a couple of days . Replacing with fresh salt on the departure morning.
Triple wrapped the head with rubbish bag and then used plumbing pipe insulation to protect the antlers and antlers points.
On arrival in Ham, we got a nice comment saying that it was the best wrapped head they have had for a while.
