Heli operators for drop offs from christchurch

Hi guys Im after a bit of info on who the chopper operators are in and around the canterbury area

Iv done a bit of tahr hunting in the past when I was studying at lincoln uni, but now living back home in the top of the north island I miss having that at my doorstep

I also want to take my father for a tahr hunt before he gets too old to do that sort of thing.

are there any closeish to christchurch?

    who are the good ones?

is it best to get a ride closer to where I want to be? to minimise flying time?

any help would be greatly appreciated
    cheers guys

Mt Hutt choppers. Not too big a ride up the Rakaia or Rangi from there.

Nope. Damaged the squirrel last season after it sunk on the heli ski landing pad and wrecked the tail rotor.
