Thread: Helicopter Contacts

Hi there,
heading to NZ form Canada in March for a DIY Tahr hunt. It's my first time in NZ. Management Unit 6 looks promising. Can someone recommend a helicopter company to fly me and my son into the area? Also open to other ideas. Not trophy hunting but looking for an epic experience.

Thanks Dusty Fog, I will look into the heli company. Didn't know about the 500m rule! Just getting started on the research. Appreciate the heads up.

500m from a 'great walk' track. 200m from any other DOC track/campsite/hut I think, it's written in the permit conditions anyway.
