Thread: Help with a Meat animal needed

Hey guys

I'm looking for some help with securing a Meat animal or two for the family freezer which is looking bloody bare atm. If anyone is in the Canterbury/south canterbury area and has somewhere they are pretty sure will produce and are happy to take me and the missus out for an evening it would be much appreciated. Can't offer much in the way of financial gain for ya but a couple of dozen is sure to make its way into your fridge. Feel free to pm me if your able to help out.

In the way of hunting down there? Asin bugger all doc land close by.

Just get out on DOC land and go for a walk. There are plenty of deer around over the next few months. Where abouts in mid canterbury are you?

There is a heap of hunting available in Canterbury to anyone who wants it. Get out of bed early and get walking. PM me if you really are stuck for ideas.

Hot tip - much easier to get onto deer on your own.

If you where in the other island I'd take you out for a deer to feed the family.

Thanks Nathan been out a number of times and was out all weekend with no luck. I understand that it's easier on your own but I'd rather the missus shoot her first if possible.

It's one thing to put a shot into the missus, but something entirely different to shoot her.
I learnt a long time ago to never take a woman hunting or fishing...if they enjoy it you will never get away on your own again...way way better to get a good mate or a dog.

2nd that Spook, took the mrs fishing on a choppy day.... hasnt come back out since haha
