Climb up above the bush line anywhere you can, and spend plenty of time glassing the scrub belt and surrounding country early in the morning and in the evening.
Pays to camp up on the bush line somewhere so you aren't climbing up from the valley floor each day.
On your first day in, spend a bit of time glassing from the river, if you see tahr/chamois/deer, then you can focus your hunting attention on that particular area, rather than climb up blind.
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
There are some sandflies at lower altitides so take some DEET. They dont carry any diseases but are annoying.
There are hares on the flats and fans which could be a challenge for bowhunting. Take a few small game arrowheads. Dont shoot any birds.
It's wild free range hunting, very pleasant in good weather, relatively favourable for bow hunting I expect but steeper than Denmark.
River crossings can be dangerous.
