Climb up above the bush line anywhere you can, and spend plenty of time glassing the scrub belt and surrounding country early in the morning and in the evening.

Pays to camp up on the bush line somewhere so you aren't climbing up from the valley floor each day.

On your first day in, spend a bit of time glassing from the river, if you see tahr/chamois/deer, then you can focus your hunting attention on that particular area, rather than climb up blind.
